Pottermore Reviews:
- The Guardian: This review is mostly positive, concerns: there may not be enough content to maintain interest. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/childrens-books-site/2012/sep/25/pottermore-jk-rowling-latest-additions)
- NDTV Gadgets: This review is also mostly positive although it has concerns about how limited the site is and wants more to be available. (http://gadgets.ndtv.com/internet/reviews/pottermore-review-242948)
JK on Fan-fiction:
Fan fiction has long been a way for audiences to get involved and imagine extra or alternative scenarios based on the original, many authors despise fan fiction seeing it as infringing on their intellectual material and polluting their work. However Rowling has more of a positive take on it, noted here on the BBC's website 'A spokesman for Rowling's literary agent said she was "flattered people wanted to write their own stories" based on her characters.' (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/3753001.stm) and that her only concern was 'that it remains a non-commercial activity to ensure fans are not exploited and it is not being published in the strict sense of traditional print publishing”.'
